With an empty stomach and our handy camera, we went to Kafka Penang. To test the product was the perfect excuse to satisfy our cravings too. Scrolling through the menu, we opted for their signature Cajun Chicken Pasta. Knowing that it would be filling, saucy and hot. All the right stuff for a proper test on the 750ml compostable lunch box.

The cajun pasta was placed into the box right off the hot pan. The waiter brought it at ease thanks to the thick material. Upon opening the lid, the first to impress was the aroma. Hot, rich and creamy pasta with a generous amount of chicken pieces. It was scrumptious, packed the right amount of flavours and pasta perfectly al-dente. In a calming and immaculate ambience, what more can you ask for?

It took approximately 20 minutes to complete the photos and videos. However, until the last mouthful, the sauces remained as it was served. The compostable container stood to the task, without the slightest deform and zero leakage. If you ever thought eco-friendly containers may not be sauce friendly, think again!
