With the festive and holiday mood, the recent months have been eventful. Which also means, endless food! Think of Hari Raya, think of a mixture of savoury and sweet dishes. We were contented to be part of Lembaga Pembangunan Langkawi’s Rumah Mesra Aidilfitri. With a pleasant classic theme and organisers dressed in traditional costumes, it was a sight to behold. Same goes for food, you get a spread of local, traditional food that is on par with the festive event. You instantly feel the Hari Raya vibes!
Eco Friendly Plates for a Variety of Dishes
If you are considering embarking on an eco friendly discipline, reducing plastic or simple wanting strong plates, these are the right dinnerware. Our 9 inches plate were the focal point of the buffet line. As per the image above, you see a wide range of dishes with different textures. We have seen in a few events where flimsy disposables not offering a comfortable dining experience. While ours are dubbed the best biodegradable plates for weddings, open houses, picnics and festivals. Yes, holding them single handedly with food is relatively easy. Just like our biodegradable food box, these plates are made from paddy rusk.
Convenience of Disposables
Besides the plates, the generous menu required more packaging. Yes, our wooden cutlery were the best sidekick for the plates. Next the 500ml bowls made the most for soups and gravies. Paper trays, with no layer of plastic on them, seem the ideal choice for the local fruits.
There is definitely a sense of togetherness during the open house. Smiles, laughters and wishes adding to the layer of happiness. We are glad to be a part of extending the layer with eco consciousness. As such, it is turning into a norm to use eco products over plastic. It’s also a message we need to spread to the next generation – reduce plastic.
