Eco Disposable Lunch Box for Wesak Day in Kuala Lumpur

This disposable lunch box is making its name for Wesak Day too.

Disposable lunch box being used for Wesak Day celebration.

If you walk through religious festivals across Malaysia, you’ll find food packed in disposable food packaging or served on disposable dinnerware. Thankfully, days of using 100% plastic and polystyrene containers are a thing of the past. Today, many organisations are sustainably driven with a focus to reduce plastic consumption including Buddhist Maha Vihara Kuala Lumpur. Noodles were served in the container.

For their Wesak Day food charity, they used our biodegradable lunch boxes which are made from paddy straw material and plastic-free. Not forgetting the harm of consuming hot food from plastic containers. Instead of the pale plastic packaging, this brown lunch box immediately adds a visual appeal. Upon holding the food container, one would know it’s a natural product.

Disposable Food Container for Fast Packing

Clamshell lunch box is quite convenient when it comes to quick prepping and packing.

Are you facing the issue of disposable lunch box pieces sticking onto each other? Fret not, our disposable lunch box is easy to tuck apart and place nearly on kitchen counters and tables. The easy opening and locking system makes it efficient when packing for a large crowd. The container has an oil resistance of approximately 1 to 2 hours. A great feat considering that there are zero layers of plastic on it. In our tests, packing oily food and rice with gravy isn’t an issue. Check out the test below:

The Best Disposable Lunch Box for Big Events

Biodegradable food containers Malaysia. Ideal for big festivals.

From disposable plates for Hari Raya to takeaway containers for Thaipusam and food packaging during St Anne’s Feast, our products are a must-have. We are glad that government events are being sustainably focused too. With its easily compressible structure after the meal, the containers can easily fit in garbage bags. Therefore, there won’t be a waste of garbage bags. It would be wise to opt for wooden cutlery than its plastic counterpart. Apart from the obvious eco-conscious reasons, the price of wooden fork and spoon is low as well.

It was great to see our bio lunch boxes playing a part in Wesak Day. Nevertheless, we hope consumers will embrace eco friendly products and use them for future events.
