The best time to test any disposable plate is during a celebration. You go big on food, so get a big biodegradable plate.

We’ll never say no to a big feast on a festival. So of course, we need to line up all the good, filling stuff on the plate. The easiest way to tell the quality of a disposable plate is the strength it holds when serving a heavy meal. Party plates or eco friendly plates – no matter what you call them though, we think a disposable plate should be perfect in both looks and functionality departments. It was a pleasant experience using the disposable dinnerware for Deepavali.
Lots of Rice, Meat and Gravy on the Disposable Plate

Here is the menu – stir-fried mutton, fried squid, chicken sambal, vege, rice and gravy. The first thing you notice is the large surface. With a 10 inch diameter, the plate fits the meal perfectly. The strong rim of the dinnerware also prevents spillage. The strength is evident when the plate is held single handedly. There is no wobbly moment or imbalance as the thickness of the eco plate gets everything sorted.
Presentable Disposable Plates for Big Occassions

This dinnerware has a natural brown colour, coming from rice straw. Yes, upon holding it, both the surface and colour give an insight into the raw material. It presents the perfect opportunity to educate guests to reduce plastic usage. Does using eco products help? Yes! The plastic pollution scale is the country is high! Apart from the bigger picture, let’s look at the closer picture too. This disposable plate is considered the best plate for hot food. As per a study, it’s unsafe to serve hot food on plastic as it releases chemicals. The future generation should attest to this issue as single-use plastics are a global issue.
Case Study on the Eco Plates

Here is our very own experience based on the generous Deepavali feast. It was comfortable when the hot rice and curry were served. Unlike the instant burning sensation on fingers when using plastic plates, it was normal with bio plates. The disposable plates’ strong structure made the gravy dishes not spill. The chicken gave a heft to the dish, while the squid’s oily layer did not seep through the thick plate. We ate within 25 minutes, with casual conversations in between, and the eco plate did not turn flimsy. Finally, when you run your fingers on the surface of the plate, you acknowledge the fact that there is no layer of plastic.
Comparable to our previous experience serving a big breakfast on the bio plate, this time there is more curry.
