Strong, sustainable and simple are three words that come to mind when thinking of our eco plates. The popularity of the dinnerware gets it dubbed as wedding plates, and utilised for numerous occasions such as Hari Raya Open House. Biodegradable Disposable Plates for Temple

It’s a norm to serve meals after prayers in temples. And you know the template for Indian food – hot dishes with ladles of gravy. This time, the menu comprised of Nasi Lemak set, sweets and snacks, and hot-off-the-pan thosai (Indian crepe). The portions were just perfect for our 9-inch bio plate. With two different gravies ladled onto the thosai and a serving of nasi lemak, the dinner was quite heavy. Nevertheless, the plate did not deform and got the job done. The rim of the plate made it comfortable to finish the meal, containing the gravy appropriately.

Have you ever tried flimsy, soft paper plates before? It’s a tough call to serve a proper dinner and just think of balancing it single-handedly. Oops, no chance. As per the image above, the person who opted for nasi lemak, found it easy to carry with a single hand.
Leakproof Disposable Dinnerware

The various textures and hot temperatures of the thosai were pleasantly contented by the eco plates. Most importantly, it was great to see guests add ladles of gravy. No leakage from the plate despite the significant amount of curry and grease. A few individuals checked on the surface of the dinnerware and vouch for the paddy straw material. Not forgetting that 6oz paper cups took care of the hot coffee.
