Food delivery has turned into a goldmine of cuisines, particularly during the quarantine period. No shortage of options to cater to all kinds of people. Even those dine-in purists, who have baulked at the concept initially, has now appreciated the convenience and commitment. We at Green Eco Paradise convey a big thank you to the kitchen staffs and food delivery riders for their efforts.
Being attached to food packaging, the most popular question thrown at us is “What type of food box suits us?”
The list below would help you understand better:
Biodegradable Packaging
Biodegradable Lunch Box (Brown)
This eco lunch box is made from paddy straw, hence the colour. It holds a strong structure and oil tolerance of approximately 3 to 4 hours. The capacity is 600ml+, which makes it suitable for most single-serving dishes. Set meals are fine too, just place 2 to 3 dishes onto a bed of rice and pack the gravy separately.
Example: Fried rice, fried noodles, slices of cake, bagel, spaghetti aglio olio, and rice sets.
2-Compartment Biodegradable Lunch Box (White)
This takeaway lunch box is made from sugarcane bagasse and is often used for set meals. The huge piece of protein occupies one compartment, while the other is often rice or noodles. The eco box capacity is 1000ml, so it is considerable for large meals.
Example: Chicken Briyani, fried rice with chicken, waffle sets and rice sets.
3-Compartment Biodegradable Lunch Box (White)
This biodegradable lunch box is another firm favourite for food deliveries. For meals that are nothing but generous and paired with sides, this is the ideal takeaway container.
Example: Large Briyani sets, Western Food sets, large rice sets and tandoori sets.
Biodegradable Base and Lid Box Set (Brown)
Biodegradable base and biodegradable lid combine as a strong takeaway box. On top of that, each can be individually used as food trays.
Example: Burger sets, rice sets and Western food sets.

Paper Packaging
Paper Lunch Box (White)
A cost-friendly lunch box with no PE coating. The colour of the takeaway box allows the colours of food to be more defined but it’s not suitable for heavy gravy dishes such as nasi kandar and nasi campur. Some customers place a banana leaf at the bottom as an additional layer.
Examples: Nasi lemak, fried noodles, cakes and cheesecakes, sandwiches, fried snacks.
Paper Lunch Box (Brown)
Similar size to the white paper lunch box but is made from thicker paper material. The box can be used to serve a variety of rice dishes and noodles. Some customers place a banana leaf at the bottom as an additional layer.
Example: Rice dishes, fried rice, nasi lemak, fried noodles, sandwiches and fried snacks

Large Paper Lunch Box (White)
With a capacity of 750ml, this lunch box comes with a mild PE lining to fill big portions with spoonfuls of gravy.
Example: Big portion of rice dishes, noodles, nasi lemak with fried chicken and Western Food.
1000ml Aluminium Foil Paper Lunch Box (Brown)
Food tastes even better when it remains warm. This kraft lunch box holds good quality and ups the presentation game.
Example: Spaghetti, Western Food and rice set meals.
Paper Burger Box (White)
As the name indicates, this food box is an ideal choice for regular burgers. But do look beyond for smaller size dishes too.
Example: Ramly-sized burgers, gyoza/dumplings, nasi lemak, Takoyaki, keropok lekor and assorted deep-fried snacks.
Cake and Western Food Boxes
As the name indicates, the paper boxes fit their purpose well.
Don’t forget to pair the lunch boxes with our wooden cutlery and napkins too.
