This eco plate is made from sugarcane bagasse, a plant-fibre material recovered from the sugarcane processing industry. The raw material is formed into food-service products ideal for everyday use. Expect an eco plate that serves its function well and helps sustain a better environment.

This plastic-free dinner plate offers a premium look, and upon holding it, one connects with the material itself. The light brown colour of the disposable plate comes from its natural sugarcane colour, and it is unbleached. With a solid structure and suitability for saucy dishes, this plate is versatile for a variety of food.

From Sugarcane Fibre to Finished Dinnerware

Our biodegradable plates are made using sugarcane bagasse, the fibrous material left behind after sugarcane juice extraction. Rather than allowing it to go to waste, the leftover fibre is processed into pulp and used as the main material for the disposable plates.

The bagasse pulp is formed using moulds, moisture is drained away, and the natural sugarcane fibres bond to form a durable structure. Once it’s suitable for food service application standards, the plates go through a series of Quality Control (QC) checks before being packed and shipped.
