Our biodegradable products, with its well-being and environmental benefits, are commonly associated with healthy dishes. Well, it’s understandable because our vegan, vegetarian and wholesome buddies share pretty much a similar mindset – to prevent the rapid rise of health issues and unkind effects to nature.
Yet the idea is to stretch the horizons further. More cafes and restaurants should be using our biodegradable plates for meal servings considering its strong structure. And if you wish to score high aesthetically, the beige surface serves as a canvas. We teamed up with our regular customer and one of the well-known cafes in Penang, The Table & Co. to offer a visual representation of the servings and of course, banish our stomach growls.
The menu comprises of Western delicacies with slight Malaysian influences and the ambience reflects how cosy and comfort met. We chomped down Chicken Popcorn, Fish Burger, Fish & Chips and Black Pepper Chicken. The flavours were great, both the fish and chicken were crunchy on the outside and tender inside, perfectly complementing the sauces (Oh that black pepper!). As for the beverage, the Toffee Latte, Ribena Lychee and Mango Tango were equally impressive. Finally, we ended on a sweet note with their latest Gula Melaka Cake. Thanks to the hearty portions, we opted not to take away, so our biodegradable lunch boxes remained on the shelves.
The common comparison to an ordinary plate is the sturdy outlook yet both our 9” and 10” plates stood to the test of time and our clumsy cutlery skills. Also, what better joy to the staffs than the hassle of spending the time to wash all those oily strains and drying the plates being completely eliminated. In short, quick and clean service.
Varying on the portion sizes, both 9” and 10” plates fit perfectly well to serve a mixture of meals and the light beige colours allow the colours of ingredients and sauces to be more defined.
